Raymond Guy Goyne, age 90, passed away on January 29, 2016 in Bastrop, LA.  He was born on November 24, 1925 in White, AR to his parents, William “Bill” and Velma Peacock Goyne.   Guy was a former employee of International Paper in Bastrop with over 46 years of service.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during WWII in the Pacific. 

He is survived by one brother, William Goyne of Daphne, AL; a very close friend, Eugene Dye; his dearest love and friend in his life, Betty Davidson of Bastrop, LA; her two daughters, Diane Anderson of Ruston, LA and Linda Carter of Benton, AR and numerous loving close relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 1, 2016 at Meridian Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating.  Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
