Margie I. Johnson, age 94, of Crossett passed away on December 17, 2017 at Stonegate Villa. She was born on January 30, 1923 in Hamburg, AR to her late parents, William Bozeman and Pearl Lee Chavis.  Mrs.  Johnson was a member of North Crossett First Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. “Jake” Johnson and daughter, Susan Johnson.

Survivors include: 4 daughters, Wanda Carter (Dewey) of Hamburg,  Janice Pennington (Phillip) of Crossett, Vickie Taylor  of Little Rock;  sister, Willeen Thurman of Hamburg, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at North Crossett First Free Will Baptist Church, visitation at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Joey Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR. (www.jonesservice.com)
