Margaret Barnett, age 90, of Crossett, AR passed away on December 21, 2016 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehabilitation.  She was born on January 31, 1926 in Crossett, AR to her parents, Ed and Clara Mae Scriber Brennon.  Margaret loved baking cakes for weddings and birthdays.  She also enjoyed fishing and working in her flower garden.  Mrs. Barnett was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church where she loved doing for her church family and the Autumn Club.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Norris Barnett; a son, Elzie Barnett; a grandson, Jason High; a son-in-law, Vance High and four brothers.

Survivors include one son, Keith Barnett (Clara); two daughters, Macky Dodson (Wayne), Judy Cook (Larry); all of Crossett, AR; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at First Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Baker and Bro. Johnny Bolin officiating.  Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at First Free Will Baptist Church.
