Johellene Griffin, age 67, of Crossett, AR passed away on November 14, 2015 at her residence.  She was born on July 15, 1948 in Crossett, AR to her parents, Josie Vell and Bertha Mae Robinson Johnson.  Mrs. Griffin had been a security guard for the Georgia Pacific Chemical.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Johellene was preceded in death by her parents.

Her survivors include her husband of 35 years, Oliver Griffin of Crossett, AR; three daughters, Jacqueline Johnson of Jacksonville, AR, Jolanta Keys of Fordyce, AR, Keri Hunsucker of Jacksonville, AR; one sister, Sue Ann Wimberly of Crossett, AR; one son, Johnathan Griffin of Crossett, AR; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Gates Chapel AME Church.  Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
