Jean Gibson, age 87, of Crossett, AR passed away on November 16, 2016.  She was born on March 9, 1929 in Collins, AR to her parents, E. Virgil and Ruby Ray Phillips.  Mrs. Gibson was a homemaker.  She enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Mrs. Gibson was a longtime member of Beech Street Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Travis M. Gibson, Jr. and a son, James Alan Gibson.

Survivors include nephews, Johnny Phillips (Angie), Jimmy Phillips, all of Monticello , AR, Tommy Phillips (Sis) of Greenwood, MS, Billy Burchfield of Crossett, AR, Randall Burchfiled (Tammy) of Milo, AR; niece, Judy Tucker (Clifton) of Crossett, AR; one sister, Marnell Burchfield of Crossett, AR and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Beech Street Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie DuBose officiating.  Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
