Hattie M. Cooper, age 92, of Crossett, AR passed away on August 10, 2016 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehab.  She was born on May 24, 1924 in Milo, AR to her parents, Mose and Sally Franks Bolin.  Mrs. Cooper had been a Gemologist in Dallas, TX for over 15 years.  Hattie also worked at the First Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out for over 10 years, where she was a member.  Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, John Cooper; three brothers, Haskell Bolin, M.Z. Bolin, Lewis Mitchell “Bill” Bolin; two sisters, Mary Bolin Fletcher, Quida Bolin Johnson and one grandson, Thomas Pounds.

Survivors include one son, John “Jackie” Cooper III of Conroe, TX; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Lewis (Wes) of Tahlequah, OK, Jan Reneé Kennedy (Mike) of Crossett, AR; one sister, Sally Bolin Murphy of Milo, AR; six grandchildren, Timothy Pounds, Christopher Pounds, Dustin Floyd, Trace Cooper, David Cooper, Katie Cooper; two great-grandchildren, Isreal and Benjamin Pounds and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
