Glenda Vee Rice Stephenson, age 55, of Crossett, AR passed away on April 20, 2016.  She was born on January 23, 1961 in Ohio.  Mrs. Stephenson was a cashier at Wal-Mart.  Glenda was a devoted wife.  She was a member of West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.  Mrs. Stephenson was preceded in death by her father, Wilford Rice.

Survivors include her husband, Dewey “Slim” Stephenson of Crossett, AR; one son, Greg Rice (Nina) of Russellville, AR; her mother, Hughlene Rice of Crossett, AR; eight step-children, Ginger Stephenson Rutherford (James) of Crossett, AR, Tom Stephenson (Cynthia) of Houston, TX, Kathie Anthony of White Hall, AR, Brenda Bowles, Phillip Stephenson, both of Hot Springs, AR, Rich Stephenson (Marilyn) of Calhoun, LA, Liz Kennedy (George) of Foreman, AR, Sarah Waites (Brett) of Hot Springs, AR; one brother, Aaron Rice of Crossett, AR; two sisters, Brenda Henderson (Mike), Teresa Murphy (Dennis), all of Crossett, AR; three grandchildren, Jacob, Dani and Robin Rice and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral  services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at  Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joey Meredith officiating.  Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
