Eunice Maydell Brown, of Crossett, AR passed away on July 18, 2016 at her residence.  She was born on December 14, 1915 in Dry Prong, LA to her parents, Ed and Sally Neal Lasyone.  Eunice was a homemaker who loved to crochet and enjoyed working in her yard.  Mrs. Brown was a member of the First Church of God.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Brown; a son, Hershel Brown; a son-in-law, Troy Farmer; two brothers, Grady and Ivy Lasyone; a sister, Idell Hataway and a grandson, Laron Brown.

Survivors include two sons, Darwin Brown (Gale) of Salem, OR, Larry Brown (Fran) of Dandridge, TN; a daughter, LaNell Farmer of Crossett, AR; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Brown of Pineville, LA; three sisters, Mildred Lonidier of Pineville, LA, Maxine Williams of Pollock, LA, Doris Shaw of Lake Charles, LA; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the First Church of God.  Interment will follow at Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Alexandria, LA under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR. (www.jonesservice.com)

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the First Church of God.
