Edward Elzie Barnett, age 63, of Crossett, AR, passed away on April 27, 2016. He was born on January 16, 1953 to his parents, Leonard Norris and Margaret Brennon Barnett in Crossett, AR.   Mr. Barnett worked at Georgia Pacific for 23 years.  He enjoyed music, fishing, playing golf and woodworking.  Mr. Barnett was a member of Pine Grove Church of God.  He was preceded in death by his dad, Leonard Norris Barnett; a nephew, Jason High and a brother-in-law, Vance High.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mary Gwendolyn Barnett of Crossett, AR; two sons, Mark Barnett (Robin) of Crossett, AR, Brent Barnett of Magnolia, AR; two step-daughters, Stacy McDaniel (Kevin) of Mt. Pine, AR, Valerie Mullins (Wade) of Kentucky; two step-sons, Kurt Little of Beekman, LA, Greg Little (Sheena) of Ft. Hill, AR; his mother, Margaret Barnett; one brother, Keith Barnett (Clara); two sisters, Macky Dodson (Wayne), Judy Cook (Larry), all of Crossett, AR; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Pine Grove Church of God on White Arkansas Rd with Bro. Doug Edwards and Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating.  Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)

Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
