Chesley A. Peters, age 88, of Crossett, AR passed away on January 30, 2016 in Shreveport, LA.  He was born on April 27, 1927 in Milo, AR to his parents, Thomas E. and Cora M. Horne Peters.  Mr. Peters was employed with Georgia Pacific for 45 years.  Chesley was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason; a past Master at the Crossett Lodge #576; District Deputy Grand Lecturer and member of the Order of Eastern Star #303.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pauline Peters of Crossett, AR; one son, David W. Peters (Kim) of Milo, AR; one daughter, Eva Applegate of Mountain View, AR; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three nephews and many other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at First Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Travis Roberts and Bro. David Tohlen officiating.  Interment will follow at Judson Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.  (www.jonesservice.com)
