Carl Eugene Carter, age 70, of Crossett passed away on January 4, 2018 at Drew Memorial Health System. He was born on July 13, 1947 in Hamburg, AR to his late parents, W. T. and Velma Boney Carter. Mr. Carter  was a mechanic and a Baptist. He was  preceeded in death by his parents and his angel baby.

Survivors include: his wife of 35 years, Jeannie Clay Carter of Crossett, AR; two sons, DeWayne Carter of Crossett, AR,  Joseph Clay of Bushkill, PA; two daughters, Amy Bonner, of White Hall, AR and Carla Haas, of Crossett, AR; one sister, Ann Castillion of New Orleans, LA;  ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Pleasant Lane Baptist Church with Tim Haas officiating. Services are under the direction of  Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR (www.jonesservice.com)
